A judge from Minnesota has confirmed the appointment of an administrator over Prince’s estate.

A Carver County District Judge, Kevin Eide, announced the appointment of Bremer Trust to handle Prince’s estate after his untimely death at age 57.

The hearing didn’t address how long Prince’s estate may take to settle, or how much it’s worth.

Prince’s sister, Tyka Nelson, requested the appointment last week, saying the superstar musician had no known will. At Monday’s probate hearing, Eide asked a packed courtroom whether anyone knew of a will, and the courtroom was silent.

Five of Prince’s siblings and half-siblings attended the hearing.
